Terms & Conditions | Go Safe Cab

01Acceptance of terms

These Terms & Conditions apply to requests for cab services made to Go Safe Cab (“Go Safe Cab”, “we”, “us” or “our”) by phone or WhatsApp. By requesting or using a service, you (“customer”, “passenger” or “you”) acknowledge that you have had an opportunity to read these terms.

If you are booking for another passenger, you are responsible for sharing relevant booking details and these terms with that passenger. Any mandatory rights available to a customer under applicable law remain unaffected.

02Services and coverage

Go Safe Cab accepts enquiries for local and outstation cab journeys, including routes serving Nashik, Mumbai and Pune. A requested route, vehicle type or pickup time is subject to availability and confirmation.

  • Service availability, vehicle category, passenger capacity and luggage capacity must be confirmed at the time of booking.
  • Availability of a vehicle in a particular area or at a particular time is not guaranteed until the booking is confirmed.
  • Any route, stop, waiting period or change to the journey should be agreed with the booking representative and may affect the fare.

03Bookings and confirmation

Bookings can be requested by phone or WhatsApp using the contact details shown on this page. Please provide accurate information, including the passenger’s name, contact number, pickup point, destination, date, requested pickup time, number of passengers and relevant luggage or accessibility needs.

  • A message or enquiry alone does not mean that a booking has been accepted. Wait for explicit confirmation from Go Safe Cab.
  • Review the confirmed pickup details, destination, vehicle category and quoted fare. Tell us promptly if anything is incorrect.
  • Keep your phone available around the pickup time so the driver or booking team can contact you about locating the pickup point or material changes.
  • Do not send payment credentials, passwords, UPI PINs or one-time passwords to anyone claiming to confirm a booking.

04Fares, extra charges and payments

Payment methods currently stated by Go Safe Cab are cash, UPI and online payment. The applicable fare and accepted method should be confirmed before travel. The amount may depend on the route, vehicle category, trip type, distance, duration and any agreed additional stops or waiting time.

  • Before the trip, ask which items are included in the quote and whether tolls, parking, permits, taxes, driver allowance, waiting time or other route-related costs are charged separately.
  • Any extra charge should be explained to the customer where reasonably practicable and handled in accordance with the confirmed booking and applicable law.
  • Pay only through a method agreed with Go Safe Cab. Keep a receipt or payment confirmation where available.
  • If you believe a fare or payment record is incorrect, contact Go Safe Cab with the booking details and available proof of payment.

Owner confirmation needed: Add the actual fare calculation rules, advance-payment requirements, toll/parking treatment, driver allowance, waiting charges and any taxes before publishing a final policy.

05Cancellation, changes and refunds

Go Safe Cab’s cancellation policy has not yet been specified. Before confirming a booking, customers should ask the booking representative how to cancel or change the trip and whether any cancellation or no-show charge applies. Do not assume that a cancellation is free unless that has been confirmed.

Refund requests are reviewed case by case. Contact Go Safe Cab with the booking date, pickup and destination details, amount paid and reason for the request. Any approved refund, timing and payment method should be communicated to the customer. This section does not remove rights or remedies that apply under law.

Owner confirmation needed: Set a clear cancellation window, no-show rule, cancellation-fee schedule, treatment of advance payments, refund eligibility and expected refund processing time. Replace this interim wording once those policies are decided.

06Pickup, waiting time and delays

Please be ready at the confirmed pickup point at the agreed time. If the pickup point is difficult to access, provide clear instructions and remain reachable by phone.

  • Traffic, weather, road closures, public events, vehicle issues and other conditions may affect arrival and journey times. Any estimate is not a guarantee of arrival time.
  • If you expect to be late or need to change the pickup point, contact the booking team as soon as possible.
  • Waiting time, driver waiting limits and any related charge should be confirmed during booking; no specific waiting fee is created by this template.
  • If Go Safe Cab needs to change or cancel a booking, we will endeavour to notify the customer and discuss available options, subject to the circumstances and applicable law.

07Passenger responsibilities

Passengers must behave respectfully and take reasonable care of the vehicle, driver and other road users. Passengers are expected to:

  • Provide accurate booking and contact information and follow reasonable pickup instructions.
  • Use seat belts and any other legally required safety equipment.
  • Ensure children are appropriately supervised and comply with applicable child-safety requirements.
  • Not exceed the vehicle’s permitted passenger capacity.
  • Tell the driver about agreed stops or destination changes through a safe and appropriate process.
  • Pay the agreed fare and any properly disclosed, applicable additional charges.

08Safety and prohibited conduct

Safety is important to Go Safe Cab. Passengers must not threaten, harass, assault or intentionally distract the driver, damage the vehicle, or ask the driver to break traffic laws or drive unsafely.

Smoking, vaping, consuming alcohol or using other substances in the vehicle is subject to the law and the vehicle/service rules communicated for the trip. Do not carry illegal, dangerous or prohibited items. The driver may decline an unsafe or unlawful request and may seek appropriate assistance where reasonably necessary.

If there is an immediate threat to anyone’s safety, contact local emergency services. For a safety complaint about a completed trip, preserve relevant booking details and contact Go Safe Cab.

09Luggage and personal belongings

Passengers should ensure luggage fits safely in the booked vehicle and does not obstruct the driver’s visibility, passenger movement or safety equipment. Tell us in advance about unusually large items, mobility equipment or other special luggage requirements.

Please check the vehicle before leaving. If you believe you have left an item behind, contact Go Safe Cab promptly with the trip date, route and a description of the item. Recovery depends on whether the item is found and can be safely returned. Do not leave valuables unattended in the vehicle.

10Availability, vehicle changes and service interruptions

Vehicle and driver availability can change because of operational, safety, mechanical, weather, road or other circumstances. Where possible, Go Safe Cab will inform the customer of a material change and discuss a reasonable alternative.

Any substitute vehicle or revised pickup arrangement should be communicated to the customer. If an agreed alternative is not suitable, contact the booking team to discuss the available options. Applicable legal rights remain unaffected.

11Liability and circumstances outside our control

Go Safe Cab aims to provide a dependable booking and travel experience, but it cannot guarantee road conditions, traffic, weather, uninterrupted availability or a particular journey duration.

Nothing in these terms is intended to exclude or restrict liability where such exclusion or restriction is not permitted by applicable law, including any non-excludable rights or remedies. Any responsibility for loss, damage, injury, delay or service failure will be assessed under the applicable law and the facts of the particular situation.

Where events outside reasonable control disrupt a journey, Go Safe Cab will endeavour to communicate relevant information and discuss practical next steps. This clause does not automatically remove a customer’s statutory rights.

12Personal information and communications

To handle a booking, Go Safe Cab may need to use information supplied by the customer, such as name, phone number, pickup point, destination and trip details, for booking coordination, service delivery, customer support, payment records and handling complaints.

Access to such information should be limited to people who need it for legitimate operational purposes, and information should be handled in accordance with applicable privacy and data-protection requirements. Information may need to be shared with the assigned driver or service provider to complete the trip, or disclosed where required or permitted by law.

Contact Go Safe Cab to ask about personal information associated with a booking. The business should publish a separate, detailed privacy notice explaining retention, security, customer requests and any other data practices relevant to its operations.

Owner confirmation needed: Confirm what information is collected, where it is stored, who can access it, how long it is retained, and how customers can submit privacy requests. This general section is not a substitute for a complete privacy policy.

14Changes to these terms

Go Safe Cab may update these terms to reflect changes in its services, operating practices or legal requirements. The updated version should be published on the website with a revised effective date where appropriate. Customers should review the terms from time to time. Changes will not override mandatory legal protections or any requirement that applies to an existing booking.

15Applicable law and interpretation

These terms are intended to operate subject to the laws applicable in India. Any dispute will be handled by the forum or authority with jurisdiction under applicable law. This template does not specify exclusive jurisdiction or waive any consumer rights.

If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue to apply to the extent permitted by law. A failure to enforce a provision on one occasion does not automatically mean it is waived.

Before publishing: Go Safe Cab should confirm its cancellation and refund rules, fare components, waiting/no-show charges, advance-payment terms, privacy practices, complaint process and any other operating rules. Have the final document reviewed by a qualified Indian legal professional.
